Entrepreneurs are allowed multiple entry for six months with possibility for additional six months extension.

After a thorough selection process, individuals will be granted a visa issued by the Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship Individuals can also make use of the newly launched RegLab as well as AREA 2071 as a gateway and platform to test out innovative technologies and build strategic partnerships with the private and public sector


Entrepreneurs Definition An owner or a manager of a business based on risk taking and innovation.

Two main criteria to be eligible to obtain the visa

  1. To own an established and successful business with a minimum capital of AED 500,000, in a field approved by the Ministry of Economy.
  2. The business should be licensed by an official business incubator in the UAE.

5 years, with the possibility to qualify for permanent residence if the conditions of the investor category are met.
